Did I tell you that I am on a diet? Probably not. I didn't want to talk about it, fearing the embarrassment of failure. However, I've been doing it for some time now, and feel very good about it.
I completely changed my diet and exercise regime 2.5 months ago, and by now I lost just over 10 kg (that's a little over 1.6 stones). It feels very good, especially that I kept chocolates in my diet too. For one part, I had to - I need to taste what we make. Thankfully our truffles are relatively low on calories and very low on nasties, and the flavours may be appreciated from a small piece.
By the end of each day I feel very virtuous; and then there is that awkward time when dinner is forgotten, and bedtime is still far away. At that point I really must give myself a little indulgence. Floral Shards became my best friends for that. Each small tablet contains only 21 calories with only 0.8g is sugar. I enjoy melting them slowly on my tongue, simple bliss. That's that, no more and no less than 1 tablet at the end of the day, and I am happy, and won’t be having this "what can I stuff in my mouth" search.
My target is still far away, I’ll let you know how I’m getting on with it.
